Aluminum Honeycomb Panel Facade

Aluminum honeycomb panel facade is a high-performance, lightweight cladding system widely used in modern architecture. It consists of two aluminum face sheets bonded to a hexagonal aluminum honeycomb core, forming a rigid, sandwich-structured composite panel.

Panel Construction:

Face Sheets: 0.5–1.0 mm thick aluminum alloy (5005, 3003 series).

Core: Hexagonal honeycomb (3–12 mm cell size, 0.04–0.08 mm foil).

Total Thickness: 4–30 mm (typically 10–25 mm for facades).

Adhesive: High-strength, heat-resistant epoxy.

Surface Finish:

PVDF (Kynar) Coating: Standard for exterior, weather-resistant, 20–30 year lifespan.

FEVE (Fluorlac): Alternative, flexible, fast color turnaround.

Other: Anodized, wood/stone texture, mirror finish.

Weight: 4–7 kg/m² (1/5 of solid aluminum, 1/10 of stone).
