Aluminum honeycomb sandwich panel = two aluminum face sheets + aluminum honeycomb core bonded together into a lightweight, ultra‑rigid panel.
Basic Structure
Top & bottom skins: Aluminum alloy sheets (3003, 5052, etc.)
Core: Hexagonal honeycomb made of thin aluminum foil
Adhesive: Structural epoxy / film adhesive (high-temperature cured)
Main Advantages
Extremely lightweight but very stiff & strong
High flatness, not easy to warp
Good sound insulation & heat insulation
Fire-resistant, non-combustible (A2 grade commonly)
Waterproof, corrosion-resistant, long service life
Easy to process & install
