Aluminum Composite Panel, often referred to as aluminum composite cladding or ACP, is a light, sandwich-type, composite construction panel. ACP comprises three bonded layers: two thin outer sheets of superior aluminum alloy and a lightweight central core material sandwiched between the two sheets of aluminum skin. There are two types of ACP Core materials: A standard grade, polyethylene (PE core), for interior wall cladding, shop signs and low-rise exterior building decorations; a fireproof or fire-retardant version with a mineral-filled core (FR/A2 core) used for high-rise and public areas, fire rated projects. The aluminum sheets are coated with protective decorative coatings: PVDF fluorocarbon coating used for outdoor facades with strong anti-UV, anti-corrosion, anti-color fading ability; PE polyester coating mainly for indoor decoration, it comes in a wide choice of colors.
