Sound-absorbing aluminum honeycomb panel is a high-performance acoustic composite material. It combines the light weight, high strength, and flatness of aluminum honeycomb structure with excellent sound absorption via precision perforation and acoustic materials.
Core Structure & Sound Absorption Principle
Perforated Face Panel: Precision-drilled holes (Ø 0.5–3 mm, 15–30% open area) let sound waves enter.
Aluminum Honeycomb Core: Hexagonal cells form sealed air chambers. Sound waves reflect and dissipate, converting to heat.
Backing Layer: Perforated back plate + sound-absorbing non-woven fabric (e.g., polyester) boosts mid-high frequency absorption.

Excellent Acoustics: NRC 0.8–0.98 (far better than ordinary perforated metal ~0.5–0.7). Full-band absorption, especially improves low-frequency efficiency.
