The nation's first 2,000-millimeter aluminum honeycomb panel production line breaks ground in Guangzhou
The country's first 2,000-millimeter ultra-wide aluminum honeycomb composite panel production line commenced construction in Foshan in January this year and is scheduled to be completed and operational by the third quarter. With a designed annual production capacity of 500 million yuan in aluminum honeycomb panels, the line was independently designed and manufactured by Guangzhou Aluminum Union Decoration Materials Co., Ltd., a leading national enterprise in the aluminum honeycomb composite materials industry. The production line spans 90 meters in length, features a processing width of 2,000 millimeters, and operates at a speed of 4 meters per minute. The precision control for the honeycomb panel products ensures a thickness tolerance of 0.2 millimeters and length/width tolerances of 0.5%.
Guided by the first national aluminum honeycomb composite material industry technology roadmap completed at the end of 2010, Liming's original national first 1350mm production line was far from meeting the demands of the situation. Seizing the opportunity, the company promptly formulated a major capital investment and construction plan to build the nation's first 2000mm aluminum honeycomb production line and another 1350mm specification production line this year.
