Aluminum composite panels (ACP / ACM) are neither MEP nor civil. They fall under Architectural / Facade cladding scope (Finishes section in BOQ / specification).
Breakdown:
✅ Civil = structural works: foundation, columns, beams, slabs, load-bearing masonry. Civil builds the main structure. ACP is non-loadbearing cladding attached on top of civil structure.
✅ MEP = Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing: HVAC ducts, pipes, wiring, drainage, fire services. MEP is building services, not facade finishes.
✅ ACP: non‑structural weatherproof exterior / interior cladding, specified by architect, usually in CSI Division 07 (Thermal and Moisture Protection / Wall Panels).
